 It is misnamed. I wanted an application to securely wipe an OS from a disk, prior to disposal of the PC. This program should be caled \"File Wipe\".
 I used this program to wipe a number of disks and it worked great. I will keep the program and use it again. Thanks for the great program
Worked perfectly!A great program that I would recommend without reservations.
 Downloaded fine, but didn\'t work. Process stopped at Error, disk in use, or some such wording. I want to wipe my hard drive for recycling and haven\'t found a way to do it yet. Windows xp won\'t even let me format the disk. I don\'t get it.
Could not get disk wipe to boot up to erase the drive.
 I was pleased with the ease of use of the program, and also the results, but i was completely unaware that as it performed the cleanup, it fully used up all the space on my D drive, which put me off using it on my C drive, where my OS is installed. The file was removed automatically after the process, but I will not risk causing instability and would appreciate warning about the temporary file.

 Files recovered even after wiping After using QuickWiper to wipe my free disk space, I ran a file recovery program and found a lot of files still recoverable and operable after the recovery. Maybe I do not fully understand the purpose of the program.
 Additional Info Required Need to know if 3rd party forensic examination of the disc will show that it has been wiped and by what means. Can it be assumed that using this system on a given hard drive, for example, will result in a discrete cleaning that is undetectable upon subsquent inspection.Please advise and include any amplifying details that you may have regarding how to best utilize this product in order to achieve undetected wiping.Thanks

I am having problems with the partition master. I am sure that it is because of the failed blocks on the HD. How can I remove the master petition (copyed and cleaned) and then tewst the rest of the disk using the Master petition section then rewriting back to the HD. If I cant do this then i will have to wait until I can but another HD and I may loose all information on this HD. This HD does have bad blocks and errors. These need to be fixed not just eliminated. Give me some answers please.
It's pretty useful.Maybe in the future it could have more options included.
